This article is for instructors using Perusall in their Ultra Course View.  

A Perusall “Home” page can be added to any HuskyCT course content page from the Content Market. In Content Market, there are two Perusall tools; the Content Tool and the Course Tool. The **Content Tool** is used for[ linking Perusall assignments](https://uconn.atlassian.net/wiki/x/DQDBugY), while the **Course Tool** is used for creating a central access point to Perusall on HuskyCT. This article will focus on adding the Course Tool to HuskyCT. 

By adding the Perusall Course Tool to HuskyCT, an account will be created. 

## Adding the Perusall Course Tool to HuskyCT: 

1. Navigate to your HuskyCT Course
2. From the Course Content page, select any gray plus sign.
3. From the drop-down menu, click on **Content Market**.

3. From the content market, scroll down and locate **Perusall Course Tool**. Click the plus icon in the lower right corner to add it to your HuskyCT Course Content page.

4. The Perusall Course Tool will appear on the course content page. It is automatically hidden from students. If you wish to make this visible, click the drop down arrow and set visible to students.
5. Click on the Perusall Course Tool to continue set up. Perusall will open within a new tab.
6. Follow the prompts on the screen to create your course. Users have the option to start from an empty course, or to copy from an existing course.
