# **Overview**

- In Ultra courses, there is a Gradebook setting which can be enabled that automatically gives students a zero for any course assessments that have:
  - a due date which has passed
  - no submission/grade.
- The “0” is a placeholder, and once students submit and are graded, the input grade will replace the “0”.
- This setting is turned ‘Off’ by default.
