This article provides 2 different ways to add Kaltura Media into a HuskyCT Course.

# Adding Kaltura Media as a *link* vs. *in course web-player*

You can embed Kaltura Media into your course in 2 different ways. Adding Kaltura Media as a link provides students with a separate window within HuskyCT to be opened (students are unable to view anything else in your HuskyCT course while this tab is opened). Adding Kaltura Media as an in course web-player allows students to view the video along side other class material. Both options allow students to view video media in HuskyCT.

## Adding Kaltura Media as a link

1. Navigate to your HuskyCT page
2. Choose the place you want your Kaltura Media to reside in (Course Content)
3. Click on **Build Content**

4. Scroll down to **Kaltura Embed Media 1.3**

> ⚠️ Make sure you select **Kaltura Embed Media 1.3** and not **Kaltura Video Quiz 1.3**

5. Find the media you want to add and click **</>Embed**

6. Your Kaltura Video will now appear as a link

## Adding Kaltura Media as an in-course web player 

1. Navigate to your HuskyCT page
2. Choose the place you want your Kaltura Media to reside in (Course Content)
3. Click on **Build Content**
4. Select **Item**

5. After naming your item, navigate to the textbox
6. Select the plus icon:plus:
7. In the pop-out box that will appear, scroll down to **Kaltura Embed Media 1.3**

8. Navigate to the video you want to add and select **</> Embed**

9. Your Kaltura video will now appear as an in course web-player
