Instructors may hide the default overall grade column from students.

1. Navigate to the **Gradebook** in your course.

2. Click on the **Overall Grade** column.
3. You will see all of your students' total grades. Select** Calculation Details **in the top left corner of the page.
  
4. To the right, under **Overall Grade Settings**, locate the **Show to students** check box. To hide the grade from students, uncheck the box, and to show to students, check the box.
  
5. Select **Save**.
