This article is for faculty looking to download their Gradebook to a local Excel file on their computers to work offline.

# **Instructions:**

1. From your Ultra course, click on the **Gradebook** tab.

2. On the top right of the page, click the settings button.
3. In the Upload and download gradebook section, select **Download grades**.
4. A side bar will open where you can select to download either the *entire* Gradebook or certain columns from you Gradebook. The Gradebook will be available as an Excel file so that you can work offline.
5. Select the **CSV **option and select **Download **at the bottom of the screen.
6. A similar file should appear on your screen:
7. You can click on the file to open it and you will have an Excel file to work with offline.

> 📝 The file may appear at the bottom of your page (Chrome) or at the top (FireFox, etc.). The message that you see regarding the opening or saving of the downloaded file will vary depending on your operating system and browser. On some computers, the file may just download automatically.
