This article is for instructors who wish to provide a guest link to Collaborate meetings for a person who is not enrolled in the course, such as a guest speaker.

<details>
<summary>Enabling Guest Access to the Course Room</summary>

The following steps can be used if you are using the Course Room in Collaborate Ultra (not a scheduled meeting). 

1. Navigate to your Ultra course.
2. Under **Details and Actions**, locate Class Collaborate and click on the **three dots**.
3. From the drop-down menu select **Manage all Sessions.**
4. Click on the Course Room at the top
5. Check the box that says **Guest access.**
6. Choose the Guest Role and copy the link by clicking the 3 small squares next to the Guest link and selecting **Ctrl + C **on your keyboard.
7. Click **Save **
8. You can now share this link with the guest for your course.

<summary>Enabling Guest Access while Scheduling a Session</summary>

1. Navigate to your Ultra course.
2. Under **Details and Actions**, locate Class Collaborate and click on the **three dots.**
3. Select **Manage all Sessions.**
4. Select **Create Session.**
  
5. Under Event Details, select **Guest Access.** Once this is selected, choose the **Guest Role**.
6. Next, click **Create**. Only then will the Guest link appear for you to copy.
7. Copy the link by clicking the 3 small squares next to the Guest link and selecting **Ctrl + C **on your keyboard.
8. Click **Save **at the bottom**.**

<summary>Editing an existing Session to enable Guest Access</summary>

The following steps can be used when you want to add a guest to an already created session.

1. Locate the session you need to get a Guest link for.
2. Click on the three dots and select **Edit Settings .**
  
3. Under “Dial in” locate the **Guest Access **check box.
4. Once this is selected, choose the Guest Role.
5. Next, click **Save**. Only then will the Guest link appear for you to copy.
6. Copy the link by clicking the 3 small squares next to the Guest link and selecting **Ctrl + C **on your keyboard.
7. Click **Save **again.
