Discussion Analysis is an automated system that provides instructors with an overview of a students contributions to a discussion board based on several criteria.

It should not be used as a replacement for reading and reviewing student work, but it gives an overview and insight into both their individual performance, but also their performance relative to the class average. 

> 📝 Discussion Analysis is only available on graded discussion boards. It takes approximately 24 hours for the analysis to be completed on a student post.

## How to Access Discussion Analysis Results 

1. Navigate to your HuskyCT Course.
2. Click on the **Discussion tab**.
3. Select the Discussion you’d like to view the analysis on.
4. From the discussion, click on **Grades & Participation** located at the top.
5. Click on a student’s name.
6. The **Discussion Analysis **will appear on the right side of the discussion post.
