# **Overview**

- Discussions are focused on the initial post made by the instructor
- Discussions can be set up for the whole class or groups
- Students can then post replies to both the original post and to other students’ comments to the initial instructor post
- Discussions can be graded or ungraded
- Instructors can organize discussions into folders
