# **Scoring with a Rubric**

1. Navigate to your course in HuskyCT.
2. While are many ways to access student attempts that need grading, the easiest way is to click on the click the **Gradebook** tab.
3. Next click on the **To do** button of the Gradebook.
4. Locate the assignment and click **Grade**.
5. From the student submission view, the right side grading panel may be hidden. If so, click on the side arrow to open the panel.
6. Once the grading panel is open, click a performance level for each criteria.
7. Alternatively, you can view and grade from the full rubric by clicking the pop-out symbol.

8. From the full rubric, select the performance levels for each criteria to tabulate the total score.

9. Alternatively, you can grade the rubric from the right-side panel. Again, as the rubric fields are selected, the score will continue to tabulate.

10. Once all rubric criteria have been evaluated, the final score tabulation will be visible in the grading pill at the top. No other score grading needs to be done.

11. At this point, the submission has been graded and you can proceed to grade the next student submission, or post the grade.
