This article is intended for instructors looking to edit **existing** questions in an Ultra test.

# **Overview**

- This article assumes you have already created a test in Ultra Course View. For more information on creating tests in Ultra Course view refer to [https://uconn.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/TL/pages/26044924115](https://uconn.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/TL/pages/26044924115)
- For Reused questions, edits made in one assessment are reflected in all assessments that the questions appears in.
- Instructors can edit specific aspects of tests/test questions *after* students have started taking a test, however some editing options are disabled.  See the section below for full details.

# **Instructions**

<summary> Editing Test Questions</summary>

1. Navigate to your course in HuskyCT.
2. Under **Course Content**, click on the test that you want to edit.
3. Find the question you want to edit.
4. Click the 3 dots in the upper right hand corner of the question.
5. Click **Edit** or **Edit/Regrade.**
6. Make any desired changes.
7. Click **Save **to keep the changes or **Cancel** to discard the changes.

<summary>Editing Questions for Tests with In-Progress Attempts or Submissions</summary>

:info:  Instructors can edit specific aspects of tests/test questions *after* students have started taking a test.  However some editing options are disabled.  See the table below for full detail.

| Deleting answers in Matching or Multiple Choice questions | Give everyone full credit for a question<br>> 📝 This option is only available once students have either opened or submitted the test |
| Changing the number of blanks in a Fill in the Blanks question | Changing the correct answer(s) |
| Moving content, and the visibility of the Additional Content box | Changing the scoring options for Matching and Multiple Choice questions |
| Adding or removing questions from a pool, or deleting the pool from the test | Aligning questions with goals from the assessment |
