Students, faculty, and staff can add captions to videos in Kaltura that were created using a transcript. 

1. Log in to [HuskyCT](http://lms.uconn.edu/).
2. Click on **My Kaltura Media. **Alternatively, you can:
  1. Navigate to [Mediaspace](https://kaltura.uconn.edu/).
  2. Click on **Guest**.
  3. Click on **My Media** to log in.
3. Click on the title of the video to which you wish to add the transcript.
4. Below the video on the right-hand side, click **Actions.**
5. Click on **Caption and Enrich**.
6. Select **Alignment** for the **Feature** field.
7. Click on **Upload txt** to upload your transcript. The transcript file type must be TXT (i.e., Windows Notepad).
8. Click **Save**.
9. Click **Submit**.

> ℹ️ If you need professional caption services, UConn has a contract in place with **3Play Media**. Follow [these instructions](https://www.3playmedia.com/uconn/) to create an account. You should then contact **Academic IT **at **ait.uconn.edu** to link your account to Kaltura.
