Blackboard provides several options for student and instructor mobile apps. This section is for students, faculty, and staff seeking an overview of these products.

## Mobile Options for Students

**Blackboard (formerly Bb Student)** is the latest mobile app for HuskyCT and is the recommended option for students. <span style="color: #000000">UConn students may download and install the Blackboard App for HuskyCT at no cost.</span> If you have the [myUConn](http://mobile.uconn.edu/) app, this app is already installed on your device.

The new interface is smart, modern and includes several new features, such as:

- Activity stream
- View, complete, and submit assignments, quizzes, and tests
- Real-time grade access
- Discussions
- Advanced accessibility features
- Seamless integration with Blackboard Collaborate

## Mobile Options for Faculty

Instructors are encouraged to use the new **Blackboard Instructor** app when accessing their HuskyCT courses on the go.

Blackboard Instructor is the new mobile app for faculty using HuskyCT. Its features enable instructors to:

- Preview course items, assignments, and tests
- Participate in discussions, and send announcements
- Interact with classes in Blackboard Collaborate
