CaptureSpece Desktop Recorder is available free of charge to all students, faculty, and staff at UConn.

1. Log in to [HuskyCT](http://lms.uconn.edu/).
2. Select the **My Media** link to access your Kaltura media.
3. Click on the **Add New** dropdown.
4. Select **CaptureSpace.**
5. A download page will appear with links for both Mac and Windows, along with software requirements. Click on the appropriate link for your operating system to download the software.
6. Once the download is finished, run the **installer** to begin the installation.
7. After the installation finishes, you will be directed to launch the **Kaltura CaptureSpace Desktop Recorder** from the **Add New** menu on your website. Click **OK** on this message.
8. Repeat **Step 2. **
9. An **External Protocol Request** window will then appear, prompting you to launch the application. Click on the **Remember Choice** checkbox.
10. Click **Launch Application**. CaptureSpace will then be configured with your user ID. At that point, you can begin using the software.
