> ℹ️ **IMPORTANT: **The Husky Book Bundle is available to all **full-time, part-time and non-degree seeking** **undergrad students**** **and** **is a **Rental Fee **that is charged to the fall and spring fee bill covering all the required course materials. The **Husky Book Bundle is a tier fee structure, meaning the fee is prorated based on enrolled credits.**

> ℹ️ Students may have their books mailed or they can pick up their books before the first day of classes. The books will then need to be returned by the last day of finals.
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ **IMPORTANT:** If the student does not want the Husky Book Bundle, they **MUST opt out 30 days prior to the 1****st**** day of class. The opt out portal will close on the 10****th**** day of class.** If the student wishes not to utilize the Husky Book Bundle, the student will then be responsible for purchasing their textbooks on their own.

> ℹ️ Husky Book Bundle Program is through a partnership with UConn Barnes & Noble Bookstore. Reduces the cost of traditional textbooks by up to 50%. Students will receive an email from the bookstore with a link to view mandatory textbooks and choose a delivery method for their materials. For convenience, the link to opt-out is also available through the students “Quick Links” section in the fee bill payment portal.

**Opt-out Instructions**
1. Log in to [Student Admin](https://studentadmin.uconn.edu/) with your NetID credentials.
2. Click the **Bursar Services** tile.
3. Click **Pay Bill & Authorize Users****. **
4. Click **Pay Bill & Authorize Users**.
5. Click **Student. **
6. Click **Program Information **next to Husky Book Bundle Program under Quick Links.
7. You will be directed to [UConn Bookstore Programs | Office of the Bursar](https://bursar.uconn.edu/uconn-bookstore-programs/). Click **How do I opt out** and then **log into the Bookstore portal. **Please allow up to 72 hours for the change to reverse off your fee bill.
