Administrators can lift service indicators in the Student Administration System.

<span style="color: #333333">The UC Service Indicators process updates the </span><span style="color: #333333">**Negative Service Indicator (Holds)**</span><span style="color: #333333"> status on student accounts. This process runs every fifteen minutes. However, cashiers may run the </span><span style="color: #333333">**Lift Service Indicator – Individuals**</span><span style="color: #333333"> process as needed for an individual student who has just made a payment and needs services reinstated immediately. </span>

1. [Log in](https://uconn.atlassian.net/wiki/display/IKB/Logging+in+to+the+Student+Administration+System) to the Student Administration System.
2. Click the **NavBar** icon in the top right-hand corner.
3. Click the **Navigator** button from the menu.
4. Navigate to the** UC** **Student Financials **tab.
5. Select the** UC Charges and Payments **<span style="color: #333333">tab.</span>
6. Click the **Lift Service Ind–Individuals **<span style="color: #333333">tab.</span>
7. Click **Search** to select a Run Control.
8. In the **ID** field, enter the student’s ID.
9. Click **Run**.
10. Click **OK**.
11. Click the** Process Monitor** button**.**
12. Click **Refresh **until the report status is **Posted**. The Negative Service Indicator status will update.
  1. The Lift Service Indicator process runs for the entire student population every 30 minutes to automatically remove holds from students that pay through self-service online.
13. Click **Go back to Lift Service Ind - Individual** to return to the **Lift Service Ind – Individuals** page.
14. To run another **Lift Service Ind - Individuals** process, enter the next student’s ID in the **ID** field and repeat **Steps 7-12**.
