Students, faculty, and staff may use the Slido Polling App within Microsoft Teams during meetings and in Chats.

## Add Slido to your Teams App

The first step is to add the Slido integration to your Teams; this can be accomplished in the desktop app or at the [Teams website](https://teams.microsoft.com/v2/).

> ℹ️ To add Slido to a Chat, the Chat must already exist. If you would like to add Slido to a meeting, the meeting’s Chat thread must already exist. To start a Teams Meeting’s Chat before the meeting time, click on the event in your calendar and then click on **Chat** and send a message.

1. Open Teams
2. Click on the **Apps** button in the lefthand navigation toolbar.
3. Search for “Slido” and **Add** the app.
4. When asked to “Choose a place to use the app”, search for the conversation/Channel you would like to conduct poling in.  
You may also add a Tab to the conversation/Channel for easy access.

## Add Slido to another location

If you would like to add Slido to another conversation/Channel, visit that location and click on the plus icon at the top. Choose Slido from the list.

## Use Slido

Visit a conversation/Channel that has Slido added.

1. Find “Slido” in the top toolbar next to “Chat” and “Shared”. Click on it to open the app.
2. You will now see your existing polls and the opportunity to create new polls.
