## Requesting Signatures

To initiate a signature request:

1. Go to [https://cloud.gonitro.com/](https://cloud.gonitro.com/)
2. From the side bar, click **Tools.**
3. Click **Sign** to add text and signatures to a document.
4. Add the file(s) you would like signed. Then click **Continue**.
5. Click **Add recipient, **if you are requesting signatures from others. You’ll be prompted to enter their name and email address. You can also sign the document with your signature or initials.
6. Add fields to the document by dragging and dropping from the “Add fields” bar. You can modify the field by clicking on it within the document or delete it by clicking the x.
7. Click **Continue**.
8. Customize the email message to the recipient. Then click **Request signature**.

> ✅ You can sign your own document. When you add a field to the document, assign the action to you. You can create your signature or initials at that point. If there are no other signatures, you’ll click **Save signatures**, and that will complete the workflow. You’ll see the signed document in your dashboard and receive a confirmation message by email.

> 📝 You’ll be able to manage your documents in the eSign dashboard. Below are some of the capabilities for individuals. You can also manage team templates and documents.
> 📝
> 📝 - From the main page, you can manage activity - what has been signed and what’s pending.
> 📝 - My documents show you what you’ve uploaded. From this screen, you can add more document or send them for signature.
> 📝 - Under Templates, you can create re-usable templates by adding fields by roles and setting a signing order.
> 📝 - Under Tools, you can combine, convert, optimize, and organize documents, in addition to having them signed.
