Adobe Creative Cloud is a suite of applications offered by UConn ITS. Two different paid licenses are offered:
- **User license: **assigned to a single user, granting app access to *only* that user on up to 2 devices. Only one device may be used at a time, and activating additional machines beyond the 2 will require deactivating one of the others. Other users of their machine will not have access to the license.
- **Device license:** assigned to a single machine, granting app access on *only* that machine by any user, even if they don’t have their own paid license.
Licenses can be [purchased by students via Touchnet](https://software.uconn.edu/adobe-products-students/) (user license only) and [faculty/staff via KFS](https://software.uconn.edu/adobe-products-for-faculty-staff/). Once a license has been assigned, you can sign in and gain access to the Creative Cloud suite of apps. If you are using the apps on a device with a device license, you do not need to purchase a user license first.
> ✅ Students who are using the Adobe apps on the public library workstations **do not need to purchase a user license** and should follow the device license instructions.

User license login instructions (personal/single-user computers)
> ⚠️ **You must have a license purchased for your user account before logging in.** Licenses can be [purchased by students via Touchnet](https://software.uconn.edu/adobe-products-students/) and [faculty/staff via KFS](https://software.uconn.edu/adobe-products-for-faculty-staff/).
## Signing In:
1. Open an incognito/private web browser.
2. Navigate to [adobe.com](http://adobe.com) and click **Sign In**.
3. Enter `uconn.edu` in the Email Address field and hit the **Continue **button.
4. You will now be redirected to Microsoft 365 to login. Log in using your UConn email credentials.
5. You will now have access to your Adobe products. You can download and install the Creative Cloud app, which can launch the suite of applications.

## Create an Adobe Account
> ℹ️ If you don’t have an Adobe Account, please follow the steps below before access the device license. You need an Adobe Account to log in. Skip this step if you have one.

1. Open a web browser and go to [https://account.adobe.com/](https://account.adobe.com/).
2. Click the **Create an Account** link.
3. Under Sign up with Email, enter your UConn email as the **Email Address** and create a password for your Adobe Account.
4. Click **Continue**.
5. On the next page, enter your user information including your name, date of birth, and region.
6. Click **Create Account**.
You can now use this account to follow the steps below and login to access the device license.
## Login instructions
> ⚠️ You must have an active Adobe Account created with your UConn email to complete this process.
1. Launch either the Creative Cloud app or the Adobe app you wish to use.
2. In the Email field, enter the UConn email associated with your Adobe account.
3. If prompted, select **Work / School Account**.
4. Enter your Adobe Account password.
5. Once logged in, you will have access to the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of applications on that device.
