Active students are eligible to obtain a free Windows 11 Education product key, which can be installed on a personal computer that doesn’t already have a Windows license.

1. Navigate to [https://aka.ms/devtoolsforteaching](https://aka.ms/devtoolsforteaching).
2. Click the blue **Sign In** button.
3. Login with your UConn email and NetID password.
4. If this is your first time accessing Azure Dev Tools, you will be prompted to complete a student verification process.
5. Once your status has been verified, you will be brought to the Azure for Education portal.
6. On the left-hand menu, navigate to **Learning Resources → Software**.
7. On the Software Page, you will see all the software you are eligible to download.
8. Search for “Windows 11 Education”.
9. You will see two options, **Windows 11 Education** and **Windows 11 Education N**.
10. Click the blue link for **Windows 11 Education**.
  
11. A popup window will appear on the right.
  1. Click **View Key** to get the Windows Product Key
  2. Click **Download** to get the ISO for installing Windows on a new system.
12. Follow the instructions of your computer or VM manufacturer to install Windows. If asked which version of Windows to install, select **Windows 11 Education**.
