Location, time, and event summary are optional. Admins can define the number of events to display. ![plugin-listviewexample.png](media://899dc24d-a3b5-441a-b5a4-399593021699) # UConn Events Calendar Grid View A grid view of upcoming events with an emphasis on the event image for visual impact. Currently, the plugin automatically displays 4 columns and 2 rows of events. Website visitors can reveal additional rows with a maximum of 25 rows (or 100 events) displayed. Rows are revealed two at a time. In the future, website administrators will be able to specify the number of columns and rows to display. ![plugin-gridviewexample.png](media://4b6e3caa-bbc3-4be8-b886-19a310a25534) # Displaying Events on Your Website There are three ways to utilize the plugins: [Blocks](https://kb.uconn.edu/space/IKB/28244869121/Add+Events+Using+Blocks) (on Cynder sites), [Widgets](https://uconn.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IKB/pages/27768782904) (on Legacy sites) or [Shortcodes](https://uconn.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IKB/pages/27768782849) (on either Cynder or Legacy sites). > ❌ As of Q1 2026, **updates are no longer being made to the widget version **of the event plugin and new functionality will not be added to it. Please convert your site to a Cynder site (if it isn't already) and use the [block version](https://kb.uconn.edu/space/IKB/28244869121/Display+Events+Using+Blocks) of the plugin to display events.
