This article describes how faculty, staff, and students can configure their calendar app for Mac to use Modern Authentication.

With macOS 10.14 or later, the Apple Calendar.app and Mail.app supports Microsoft Modern Authentication protocols. If there is a legacy setup, this will need to be removed and re-added to use Modern Authentication. To remove and re-add the account, please follow the steps below: 

1. Navigate to **System Preferences** located under the Apple logo
2. Select **Internet Accounts**
3. Select the Microsoft 365 account associated with UConn and click on the :minus: icon to delete it
4. Add it again by clicking on the :plus: icon and log in to your Microsoft 365 account using your UConn email address.
5. Once this is done, the calendar should be configured to use Modern Authentication.
