Files in SharePoint sites can be seen by all members of that SharePoint site. This enables sharing of files and real-time collaboration for Office 365 files.

## Finding SharePoint Files in Office 365

1. [Open SharePoint](https://uconn.atlassian.net/wiki/pages/createpage.action?spaceKey=ikb&title=Accessing%20Files%20in%20SharePoint&linkCreation=true&fromPageId=26042532324) in your browser.
2. Select your SharePoint site.
3. From the site homepage click **Documents** in the left side-panel.
4. The “Documents” tab is where all SharePoint files can be found. You can use the file explorer in that tab to create, move, and view any files stored in the SharePoint site.

## Finding SharePoint Files Synced on Your Computer

1. Open File Explorer (on Windows computers) or Finder (on Mac computers).
2. Navigate to the synced SharePoint folder.
  1. On Windows computers the folder will appear under **University of Connecticut**.
    
  2. On Macs the folder will appear under **OneDrive - Shared Libraries…**
    
3. All SharePoint files from sites that are synced with your computer can be found under in those folders.
