On-campus printing at the UConn is powered by Wepa, which is a cloud-hosted service that lets you print to [several stations across the UConn campuses](https://uconn.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IKB/pages/10903060508) with your mobile device, personal computer, or lab computer.

> ℹ️ Faculty and staff should not print work-related documents at a Wepa Print Station. Instead, they should print them at their office. ## How to print

<details>
<summary>Mobile Phone or Tablet</summary>

The easiest way to print from a mobile app is by downloading the Wepa print app. With the app, you can print from Apple and Android smartphones and tablets. 

> ℹ️ You can use [Wepa Express](https://support.wepanow.com/express/) if you use the app. <span style="color: #444444">Wepa Express allows touch-free document release and secure document release by another person.</span>

**iOS**

1. Download the [Wepa Print app](http://itunes.apple.com/app/wepa-print/id544583210?mt=8) onto your device.
2. Open the document you want to print and select the **Open **icon in the top right-hand corner.
3. Select **Open in Wepa Print.**
4. Log in with your **NetID** and **password** when prompted by the Wepa Print app.
5. Select the print options and the number of copies you would like to print. Color, B/W, portrait, landscape, and duplex printing options are available.
6. Tap **Send to Wepa** to upload your document to the cloud.
7. You will receive confirmation that your file has been uploaded.
8. Visit any Print Station on campus and touch the screen to start.
9. Swipe your **Husky OneCard ID card**, enter a **release code**, or log in with your **Husky One Card login** to download your print jobs from the cloud.
10. Select the file to print and your payment method.
11. Collect your print job.
12. Log out.

**Android**

1. Download the [Wepa Print app](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wepanow&hl=en) from the **Google Play Store**.
2. Open the Wepa print app and log in using your **NetID **and **password.**
3. To select files to print, press the blue dot with the **plus (+)** symbol.
4. Choose **Files **for access to files on your mobile device or choose **Cloud **for access to files stored on one of your linked cloud accounts.
5. Navigate to the file and select the file. You will receive a pop-up.
6. Select the print options and the number of copies you would like to print. Color, B/W, portrait, landscape, and duplex printing options are available.
7. Tap **Submit.** Locate more files to print or press the blue dot with the **Home** icon.
8. When you return Home, you will see your list of Print Jobs.
9. Visit any Print Station on campus and touch the screen to start.
10. Swipe your **Husky One Card ID card**, enter a **release code**, or log in with your **Husky One Card login **to download your print jobs from the cloud.
11. Select the file to print and your payment method.
12. Collect your print job.
13. Log out.

<summary>Web browser</summary>

1. Log in to your Wepa account on any device with an Internet connection and browser.
2. Click **Document Upload**.
3. <span style="color: #000000">Click </span><span style="color: #000000">**Choose your file...**</span><span style="color: #000000"> and browse for your file, or drag and drop it into the window.</span>
4. <span style="color: #000000">Set your print options. You can determine the number of copies, single vs. double-sided, color vs. black/white, etc. When finished, click </span><span style="color: #000000">**Send Print Options**</span><span style="color: #000000">.</span>
5. <span style="color: #000000">In the </span><span style="color: #000000">**Review the Results**</span><span style="color: #000000"> section, you will see your Wepa code. Use this code to release your file at any Wepa print station. You will also see the code for a particular file under </span><span style="color: #000000">**My Documents**</span><span style="color: #000000"> and displayed on the main page of your Members Area under </span><span style="color: #000000">**Recent Print Jobs**</span><span style="color: #000000">.</span>

> ✅ To release multiple files, log in at the Wepa print station.

<summary>Computer</summary>

1. Download and install the **Wepa** print driver:
  - For [Windows](https://www.wepanow.com/downloads/wepa%20Print%20App.msi)
  - For [macOS](https://www.wepanow.com/downloads/wepa%20Print%20App.pkg)
2. Open your document, and from the **Print **menu, choose a printer:
  - **Wepa BW: **black and white prints.
  - **Wepa BW Two-Sided: **double-sided black and white prints.
  - **Wepa Color: **color prints.
  - **Wepa Color Two-Sided: **double-sided color prints.
    - UConn Print Stations only print on letter size paper (8.5” x 11”). Please format your document to this size before printing.
3. Visit any Print Station on campus and touch the screen to start.
4. Swipe your **Husky OneCard ID card**, enter a **release code**, or log in with your **NetID login** to download your print jobs from the cloud.
5. Select the file to print and your payment method.
6. Collect your print job.
7. Log out.

### Linux

- The Linux Print App is the most flexible way to print from Linux.
- Print from any software by choosing **File → Print** and selecting a Wepa printer.

<summary>Lab Computer</summary>

1. Visit any campus Print Station.
2. Open your document, and from the** Print** menu, choose a print option:
  - **Wepa-BW **(PC) or **Wepa-Mono** (Mac): black and white prints.
  - **Wepa-Color: **color prints.
    - Wepa Print Stations only print on letter size paper (8.5” x 11”). Please format your document to this size before printing.
3. Click **Proceed** to send your print job to the cloud.
4. Enter your **NetID **and **password** when prompted for authentication.
5. Visit any Print Station on campus and touch the screen to start.
6. Swipe your **Husky One Card**, enter a **release code**, or log in with your **NetID** to download your print jobs from the cloud.
7. Select the file to print and your payment method.
8. Collect your print job.
9. Log out.

<summary>At Print Station from Cloud Account</summary>

1. Visit any campus Print Station.
2. Swipe your **Husky One Card**.
3. Tap on the icon of the cloud service that you are using (ex. OneDrive).
4. Log in to your cloud service account.
5. Allow Wepa printing to access the drive account.
6. Select the file(s) you wish to print.
7. Select the number of copies you wish to print and your print options. Color, B/W, and duplex printing options are available.
8. Select your [payment method](https://www.sandiego.edu/its/support/printing/how-to-pay.php).
9. Collect your print job.
10. Log out.

> ⚠️ If you encounter an issue that warrants a refund, contact [Wepa Support](http://support.wepanow.com). ITS cannot directly issue a refund.

> ⚠️ You do not need to notify ITS if a printer is jammed or out of toner or paper. ITS technicians are notified automatically and will repair the problem.
