Students, faculty, and staff can initiate a video test call using Microsoft Teams to verify that their computer is ready for video conferencing.

## Making a Teams test call

1. Open **Microsoft Teams** on your computer. If Microsoft Teams is not installed, please visit the [Installing Microsoft Teams](https://uconn.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IKB/pages/10749247603) page for an install guide of the program.
2. Use the search bar at the top of the window to find a coworker you can test with.
3. Select the coworker's name. You can also [chat ](https://uconn.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IKB/pages/10749248089)with them before calling to verify they are available.
4. Use the **camera icon** to call them.
5. Verify that both of you can hear and see each other.
