Using an iPad or other tablet device, you can use OneNote to record handwritten notes.

## Getting Started

1. Download Microsoft OneNote from the App Store and open the application.
2. Click on the gear at the top right to open **Settings.**
3. Tap on **Account** to ensure you are signed in with your UConn account. You can tap **Add account **to add additional Microsoft accounts.

## Creating a New Notebook (iPad)

1. On the bottom left of the home screen, click **+ Notebook **to create a brand new notebook.
2. Type in a new notebook name.
3. Tap **Create.**
4. Within the new notebook, you can tap **+ Section **or **+ Page** to create new sections and pages within the notebook.
5. Tap on a page to open it within OneNote.
6. In the top bar, tap on **Draw.**
7. Scroll through the pen images to get to the right side of the top bar, and tap on the white plus button to **Add Pen.**
8. Select the thickness and color of the pen.
9. Using your stylus, you can now write on the virtual page.
10. To add additional pages, tap **+ Page.**
