<span style="color: #003366">Software Center is a component of Microsoft’s Endpoint Configuration Manager (ConfigMgr), which enables Information Technology Services (ITS) to deploy and update: applications, security updates, and operating systems for computers in the Managed Workstation Service. </span>

<span style="color: #172b4d">Faculty and staff who have a computer in the Managed Workstation Service can manually sync policy for their workstations in the Software Center, prompting the workstation to check for new software and, thereby, shortening the deployment time.</span>

## <span style="color: #172b4d">Manually Sync Policy </span>

1. Open **Software Center** from the **Start **menu.
  1. Enter **Software Center** in the search bar at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Alternatively,
    1. Click **Start**.
    2. Select **Microsoft Endpoint Manager**.
    3. Click **Software Center**.
2. Click **Options** in the left-hand column.
3. Click to expand the **Computer Maintenance **options.
4. Click **Sync Policy.**
5. Click **Applications**.
6. Click **Admin Fix**.
