Microsoft releases desktop updates for Teams regularly. These updates should occur automatically; however, you can also force Teams to check for updates manually at any time.

## Check for Updates Within the App

1. Open the **Teams** desktop app.
2. Click on the three dots, or the “Update” button at the top right corner.
3. Click **Update and restart Teams** in the drop-down box.
  
4. If there are available updates for Teams, they will now be downloaded and installed.
