1. Before installing, ensure your NetID is [synced](https://netid.uconn.edu/tools/test_password.php).
2. Choose the appropriate tab below to see the install instructions.

<details>
<summary>Windows</summary>

1. Download the installer at [webex.com/downloads/jabber.html](https://www.webex.com/downloads/jabber.html).
2. When the application opens, you should receive two login screens with one asking for your email address and the other asking for your NetID and NetID password (Students will need to use their NetIDwork credentials).
3. If you are prompted with a message asking you to reset your account, press **Reset**. This will not affect your account.
4. You will be brought to the Jabber application now.

<details>
<summary>MacOS</summary>

1. On your keyboard, press **Command** + **Spacebar** to open the **Spotlight search**. Type in **Self Service**.
2. Use your NetID and NetID password to sign into **Self Service**.
3. Find **Cisco Jabber** in the list and click on **Install**.
4. The application will begin to download. After the download finishes, click **Install**.
5. When the application opens, you should receive two login screens with one asking for your email address and the other asking for your NetID and NetID password (Students will need to use their NetIDwork credentials).
6. If you are prompted with a message asking you to reset your account, press **Reset**. This will not affect your account.
7. You will be brought to the Jabber application now.
