Admins of shared booking pages can set time off for individual or multiple employees to prevent them from being booked. This is useful if an employee is out sick and cannot set their own out-of-office status in their Outlook calendar, or if the office will be closed for a holiday.

> ⚠️ Setting time off in Bookings will block off that time in employees' calendars as “Busy”.

> ℹ️ **Microsoft Bookings is available at ****[https://book.ms](https://book.ms)****.**

### Prerequisites

- You are an “Administrator” or “Scheduler” of a shared booking page.

## Scheduling time off

1. In your shared booking page, click **Add time off** in the calendar header.
2. Fill in the details such as the date/time frame. Add the staff members who you would like to receive the time off. If the office will be closed at this time, you should select all staff.
3. Select **Create time off**. Assigned staff will see “Time off” in their calendar at the time you set.
