In Webex Meetings, participants can raise their hand to obtain the attention of the Host. Webex also refers to this button as "Ask to Speak" when using Webex Events. 

- The Host will see the Participants in the order that they raised their hands.
- The rest of the Participants will remain in alphabetical order below those raising their hands.

## Raising Hand in Meeting

If you need to open your Participant Panel (shown above), do so by clicking on the **Participants** button that sits at the bottom of the window.
2. In the Participant Panel, click on the **hand icon **that resides next to your own name. The hand appears when you hover your cursor over your name.
3. Click this button again to lower your hand.
