Each weekday (with the exception of certain holidays, listed below), these publications are delivered to students, faculty, and staff via email.  ## Daily Digest The *Faculty/Staff Daily Digest* and *Student Daily Digest *are only for events and announcements that are officially sponsored by, sanctioned by, or affiliated with the University. No other events or announcements are permitted in either publication. > ⚠️ Alert System communications, including all emergency and campus closure information, are not included in the Faculty/Staff Daily Digest or the Student Daily Digest. ### Faculty/Staff Daily Digest The *Faculty/Staff Daily Digest *is automatically delivered across all campuses to all UConn faculty, staff, graduate students, and UConn Foundation employees at 11 am every weekday (with the exception of certain holidays, listed below). This publication contains the most current *UConn Today *headlines, human resources reminders, and important University-wide messages and announcements. Faculty and staff can also [submit announcements](http://dailydigest.uconn.edu/index.php/public/chooseCampaign) for events, award nominations, calls for research participants, campus fundraisers, and more.  > ⚠️ If you would like to receive the Faculty/Staff Daily Digest but do not have a NetID, you can still access the Digest by joining the [UConn Public Daily Digest-L list](https://listserv.uconn.edu/scripts/wa.exe?SUBED1=UCONN_PUBLIC_DAILY_DIGEST-L&A=1). > ℹ️ Submissions to the *Faculty/Staff Daily Digest* must adhere to guidelines. For more information about the submission process and guidelines, review the Daily Digest website’s [How to Submit](https://uconn.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IKB/pages/10815340698) page. ### Student Daily Digest The *Student Daily Digest *is automatically delivered to all undergraduate and Bachelor of General Studies students every weekday (with the exception of certain holidays, listed below). This newsletter contains announcements for various student events and activities, like internship, career, and study abroad opportunities, as well as safety, health, and wellness alerts, and academic and campus information. ## UConn Health Lifeline The *UConn Health Lifeline *is delivered to all UConn Health students, faculty, staff, residents, and affiliates, who are automatically subscribed to the *Lifeline’s* mailing list. *Lifeline *contains information and announcements for events, lectures, and meetings, research and awards, parking and transportation, and training and professional development, along with many other topics.  > ⚠️ UConn Health announcements for emergencies and campus closures are not included in the *UConn Health Lifeline*. ## Publication Frequency and Exceptions The *Faculty/Staff Daily Digest, Student Daily Digest*, and the *UConn Health Lifeline *are, for the most part, circulated daily, Monday through Friday. However, there are exceptions to this rule. Below is a list of days on which these publications are not sent out to subscribers. ### Daily Digest Neither the *Faculty/Staff Digest* nor the *Student* *Daily Digest* runs on the following holidays: - New Year's Day - Memorial Day - Independence Day (Observed) - Labor Day - Veterans Day - Thanksgiving Day - Christmas Day ### Student Daily Digest Unlike the *Faculty/Staff Daily Digest*, distribution of the *Student Daily Digest* is subject to change due to breaks in the academic year. During these breaks, the *Student Daily Digest* has an alternate schedule, as follows: - The *Student Daily Digest* does not run during Thanksgiving Break. - The Student Daily Digest only runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays during Summer Break, Winter Break, and Spring Break. ### UConn Health Lifeline The *UConn Health Lifeline* does not run on the following holidays: - New Year’s Eve / New Year’s Day - Martin Luther King Day - Lincoln’s Birthday - Washington’s Birthday - Good Friday - Memorial Day - Independence Day - Labor Day - Columbus Day - Veteran’s Day - Thanksgiving / Friday after Thanksgiving - Christmas Eve / Christmas Day ## Related Articles > Macro (contentbylabel) > Macro (details) > > | Related issues | ![image]() | > | --- | --- |
