> ⚠️ In order to perform the following actions, your user account on the Mac must have admin rights.

<span style="color: #171717">Microsoft Teams is available in Outlook for Mac. It allows you to schedule a Teams meeting from Outlook. If this option does not appear for you, follow the instructions below.</span>

1. Make sure you have Teams installed on your Mac. If you do not, [download the desktop app here](https://software.uconn.edu/software/microsoft-teams/).
2. Sign into Teams with your UConn email address and NetID password
3. Make sure you have **Office for Mac (Version **<span style="color: #171717">**16.24.414.0 or higher)**</span><span style="color: #171717"> installed. </span>
  1. <span style="color: #171717">To find your version, see </span><span style="color: #171717">[What version of Office am I Using?](https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4028492/office-what-version-of-office-am-i-using)</span><span style="color: #171717">. </span>
  2. <span style="color: #171717">To install the latest version of Office for Mac, navigate to the </span><span style="color: #171717">[UConn Software Catalog](https://software.uconn.edu/microsoft-products-faculty-staff/)</span><span style="color: #171717">. </span>
4. <span style="color: #171717">Check to see how your version of Office is licensed. To do so, </span><span style="color: #000000">open </span><span style="color: #000000">**Outlook**</span><span style="color: #000000">, go to </span><span style="color: #000000">**Outlook**</span><span style="color: #171717"> in the top </span><span style="color: #000000">menu, and click </span><span style="color: #171717">**About Outlook**</span><span style="color: #171717">.</span>
5. <span style="color: #171717">If your version of Outlook is licensed like in the image below, you need to run the </span><span style="color: #171717">**Office License Removal Tool.**</span>

8. <span style="color: #171717">Check to see how your version of Office for Mac is licensed as you did in </span><span style="color: #171717">**Step 4**</span><span style="color: #171717">. If your version of Outlook is now licensed with your UConn email address, you should see the following license status.</span>

9. <span style="color: #171717">Open </span><span style="color: #171717">**Outlook for Mac.**</span>
10. <span style="color: #171717">Navigate to the </span><span style="color: #171717">**Calendar**</span><span style="color: #171717"> section.</span>
11. <span style="color: #404041">The </span><span style="color: #171717">**Teams Meeting**</span><span style="color: #404041"> button may take several minutes to show up, or you may be prompted to</span><span style="color: #404041">** r**</span><span style="color: #171717">**estart Outlook**</span><span style="color: #404041"> for improvements to calendar sync. Select </span><span style="color: #171717">**Restart Outlook. **</span><span style="color: #171717">Once you do so,</span><span style="color: #404041"> the </span><span style="color: #171717">**Teams**</span><span style="color: #171717"> </span><span style="color: #171717">**Meeting**</span><span style="color: #404041">** **</span><span style="color: #404041">button should be available within a few moments.</span>
