Students are introduced to their advisor during student orientation and must meet with them at least once per semester. Nexus is the system that most academic advisors use to schedule these appointments. With Nexus, students can create and book appointments on Nexus to follow up with class registration, holds on their accounts, and other advisory needs.

## Scheduling an Appointment

2. <span style="color: #000000">Log in with your NetID and password. You will be will be directed to the Nexus homepage, which displays your advisor's name, as well as a space to upload your photo.</span>
3. <span style="color: #000000">Click </span><span style="color: #000000">**Schedule Appointment. **</span><span style="color: #000000">Your assigned academic advisors will display. Here, you can select an advisor to schedule a meeting with.</span>
4. <span style="color: #000000">Click </span><span style="color: #000000">**Schedule Appointment**</span><span style="color: #000000"> under the picture of the advisor. Any available appointment times will display.</span>
