IT professionals who can edit and add material on the IT Knowledge Base can embed media hosted in Kaltura into a Confluence article. When you embed the video, it plays within the page. Below are instructions on how to add the correct macro and insert the embed code.

## Adding Kaltura Media to Confluence

1. Go to the place in the article where you want to insert the video.
2. Insert the **HTML macro**.
  1. Click the ( **+ **) icon in the toolbar.
    1. Select **Other macros** from the drop-down menu.
    2. Find and select the HTML macro.
    3. Click **Insert**.
  2. Alternatively,
    1. Type **/ (slash)**.
    2. Start typing **HTML**.
    3. Select the HTML macro when the option appears.
      
3. Now that the HTML macro has been inserted, you can paste the embed code generated by Kaltura.
  1. Log into Kaltura.
  2. Go to the video you wish to add.
  3. Click **Share**.
  4. Click the **Embed** tab.
  5. Copy the code.
  6. Paste the code into the HTML macro on your Confluence page.
4. When you are finished, click **Publish** or **Update** to save your changes and make them visible to viewers.
