<span style="color: #172b4d">UConn faculty, staff, and students with a University Gmail account can quickly create a video call with other UConn users. Once created, any UConn user can join the meeting by typing in your meeting code at </span>[Google Meet](https://meet.google.com/_meet)<span style="color: #172b4d">.</span>

> ⚠️ <span style="color: #333333">This method only works when all meeting attendees have a UConn gmail account. You will join a meeting a different way if the </span><span style="color: #333333">[meeting includes people without UConn accounts](https://uconn.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IKB/pages/10790764735)</span><span style="color: #333333">.</span>

1. Go to [meet.google.com/_meet](https://meet.google.com/_meet).
2. Make sure that you are signed in to your University Gmail account. Sign in by clicking on the **Sign in **button at the top right.
3. Click **Join or Start a Meeting.**

4. To join a meeting, type in the secret code that was given to you by the meeting host.

5. Click on **Join now** to join the video call.
