UConn students, faculty, or staff can quickly set up video conference calls with other Google users with their University accounts. The method detailed below can be used to invite external (do not have a UConn account) or other UConn users to the meeting.

1. Go to [meet.google.com/_meet](https://meet.google.com/_meet).
  1. To start a meeting, you need to sign in with your UConn Gmail account. Click **Sign In** in the upper right corner of the screen if you need to switch to your University account.
2. Click **Join or Start a Meeting.**
3. Type in a nickname for the meeting.
4. Configure your audio and video settings.
5. When ready, join the meeting by clicking **Join now**.

6. Digital invites can be easily sent out by clicking on **Add people**.

7. On the **Invite **tab, type in an email to send them an invite. The recipient does not need to have a UConn email address and can be any external Gmail account.

8. Alternatively, on the **Call** tab, type in the recipient's number and click the green phone icon at the bottom.
