When entering a Teams meeting, you can change your audio playback and recording settings. If you cannot hear others in Teams, make sure the correct speakers are selected in the audio settings.

## Changing Settings when Joining a Meeting

1. Click to join the meeting through your email or calendar.
2. In this menu, select **Computer audio.**

3. Under Computer audio, select the **settings** button.
4. In the sidebar to the right, you can change your microphone and playback devices.
5. Once you have selected the correct device, click **Join now.**

## Changing Settings During a Meeting

1. Select the ellipsis in the meeting for **More actions.**
2. Select **Device settings.**
3. Select the device from the sidebar on the right.

## Changing Settings through Teams Settings

1. In the Microsoft teams client, select your icon located in the top right.
2. Select **Settings** (cogwheel).
3. Click **Devices** within the settings menu.
4. Click the drop-down menu under "Speaker" and select your active speakers/headphones.
