<span style="color: #000000">This article is for students, faculty, and staff who are experiencing slow connection speeds or are unable to access UConn network resources over Wi-Fi when the Pulse VPN client application is installed.</span>

This problem is caused by an unknown interoperability issue with the Juniper Network Service and the physical wireless adapter when Pulse Desktop Client is installed. To solve this issue, disable the Juniper Network Service from both the virtual and physical wireless network adapters.

1. Ensure that Pulse VPN is connected.
2. <span style="color: #000c34">Open </span>**Control Panel**<span style="color: #000c34"> and select </span>**Network and Sharing Center**<span style="color: #000c34"> then select </span>**Change adapter settings**<span style="color: #000c34">.</span>
3. <span style="color: #000c34">Right-click on the </span>**WiFi adapter. **
4. <span style="color: #000c34">Select </span>**Properties**<span style="color: #000c34">.</span>
5. <span style="color: #000c34">Un-check the box for </span><span style="color: #000c34">**Juniper Network Service.**</span>
6. <span style="color: #000c34">Click </span><span style="color: #000c34">**OK. **</span>
7. <span style="color: #000c34">Right-click on the </span>**Pulse Secure **<span style="color: #000c34">virtual adapter, if it exists. </span>
8. <span style="color: #000c34">Select </span>**Properties.**
9. <span style="color: #000c34">Un-check the box for </span>**Juniper Network Service.**
10. Click **OK.**
11. Restart your computer.
