Webex, a video conferencing system supported by the University, <span style="color: #172b4d">allows participants to communicate via video, audio, and shared screens. </span>This section is for users seeking information <span style="color: #222222">regarding </span>how to join or host a Webex meeting. 

> ⚠️ Anyone with a NetID can initiate a Webex meeting with people inside and outside of UConn.

## Joining a Webex Meeting

There are four ways to join a Webex meeting. 

- Learn [how to join a Webex session on a computer](https://uconn.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IKB/pages/10770448539). You may use the desktop application or right in your browser.
- A [smartphone](https://uconn.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IKB/pages/10758194549) enables audio/video sharing, but you can also join with a [phone/landline](https://uconn.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IKB/pages/10758849473) to share audio exclusively.
