<span style="color: #172b4d">This article explains how to use the conferencing capabilities on Polycom speakerphones provided by ITS through Verizon Business. </span>

Verizon Business is the contracted provider for additional conference services beyond the three-way and six-way conference calling features provided by ITS. To request conference services with Verizon Business,

1. Have your billing telephone number ready.
2. Contact Verizon Business at **1-800-475-5000**.
3. Identify yourself as a State of Connecticut employee.
4. Explain your conference call needs. (The most common service used is "instant meeting"; however, Verizon Business can help you determine what is best.)
5. Provide Verizon Business with UConn's agency and authorization codes. UConn's agency code is 7301, and the authorization code is 2180337.

> ⚠️ <span style="color: #000000">Additionally, please note that any conference that has 2 or fewer participants and </span><span style="color: #000000">**is**</span><span style="color: #000000"> </span><span style="color: #000000">**not **</span><span style="color: #000000">Operator Assisted</span><span style="color: #000000">** **</span><span style="color: #000000">will prompt Verizon supervision to request that the meeting organizer press</span><span style="color: #000000">** *1**</span><span style="color: #000000"> to retain the conference bridge. This request will be made after 90 minutes. </span>
