<span style="color: #333333">Faculty, students, and staff who have forgotten or misplaced the device they configured for two-factor authentication (2FA) have the ability to re-establish the connection with the help of a technician.</span>

1. Call the ITS Technology Support Center at **(860) 486-HELP** or **(860)-486-4357**.
2. You will be asked to verify your identity, and then you will be sent a bypass code.
3. Go to the 2FA authentication page and use the code you received to log in with 2FA using the **Passcode **option. Type the bypass code provided into the green box marked "enter a passcode." If you have enabled 2FA Everywhere, you will need to request two codes to complete this step.
4. [Set Up a Backup](https://uconn.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IKB/pages/10784508210) device to your 2FA account.
