Users can install Java on Mac computers.

> ⚠️ You must have administrator privileges to install Java.

1. Navigate to the [Java Downloads Page](https://www.java.com/en/download/mac_download.jsp).
2. Press **Agree **and** Start Free Download. **
3. Double click on the** **`.pkg` file to launch it.
4. Double click on the **package icon** to launch the install wizard.
5. Follow the onscreen prompts to install Java.
