Students, faculty, and staff can install Adobe Reader for Mac computers. 

> 📝 ITS recommends that you use the built-in PDF reader. If you need advanced capabilities, consider installing Adobe Creative Cloud or Adobe Express. See [software.uconn.edu](http://software.uconn.edu) for information.

1. Navigate to the [Adobe Acrobat Reader installation page](https://get.adobe.com/reader/).
2. Download the installer.
3. Save the** .dmg** file.
4. Open the **.dmg **file.
5. Open the **.pkg** file.
6. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
