This article is for faculty and staff who wish to use <span style="color: #333333">Calendar to create new appointments, meetings, share a calendar, and create calendar groups in Outlook on Windows.</span>

## Creating a New Appointment

1. Open **Outlook**.
2. Click the **Calendar icon **in the bottom left-hand corner of Outlook.
3. Click **New Appointment**.
4. <span style="color: #333333">Fill in the appropriate fields for the appointment.</span>
5. <span style="color: #333333">Click </span><span style="color: #333333">**Save & Close**</span><span style="color: #333333"> to save the appointment to the calendar.</span>

## <span style="color: #333333">Creating a New Meeting</span>

1. Open **Outlook**.
2. Click the **calendar icon **in the bottom left-hand corner of Outlook.
3. Click **New Meeting** in the top left-hand corner.
4. <span style="color: #333333">Fill in the appropriate fields for the meeting.</span>
5. <span style="color: #333333">Click </span><span style="color: #333333">**Save & Close**</span><span style="color: #333333"> to save the meeting to the calendar.</span>

## <span style="color: #333333">Sharing Calendars</span>

1. Open **Outlook**.
2. Click the **calendar icon **in the bottom left-hand corner of Outlook.
3. Click the **Folder** tab, then click on **Share Calendar.**
4. <span style="color: #333333">Fill in the appropriate fields: Recipient, Subject, Details, etc.</span>
5. Click **Send **to send out an invitation to the recipient.

## Creating New Calendar Groups

1. Open **Outlook**.
2. Click the **calendar icon **in the bottom left-hand corner of Outlook.
3. Click **New Group** in the "Groups" section of the ribbon.
4. Click **Create a New Calendar Group** in the drop-down menu.
5. Name your calendar in the space provided.
6. Click **OK.**
7. Select the members you would like added to the group.
8. Click **OK.**
