<span style="color: #333333">This article is for faculty and staff who wish to import a calendar in Outlook that has been exported as a .csv, .vcs, or .ical file. </span>

> ⚠️ <span style="color: #333333">If you wish to view a previously-created calendar in another application, you may find it useful to export and then import your calendar. Importing calendars to Microsoft 365 online under the UConn domain is not possible at this time.</span>

### <span style="color: #000000">Importing a Calendar into Outlook from a .ical or .vcs file</span>

1. <span style="color: #333333">Open your Outlook Calendar.</span>
2. <span style="color: #333333">Click</span><span style="color: #333333">** File > Open & Export > Import/Export**</span><span style="color: #333333">.</span>
3. <span style="color: #333333">Select</span><span style="color: #333333">** Import an iCalendar (.ics) **</span><span style="color: #172b4d">or </span><span style="color: #333333">**vCalendar file (.vcs).**</span>
4. <span style="color: #172b4d">Click </span><span style="color: #333333">**Next**</span><span style="color: #172b4d">.</span>
5. Using the file explorer window that opens find and select the calendar file.
6. Click **OK. **
7. Select whether you would like to import this as a new calendar or add the items to your current calendar.

### **Importing a Calendar into Outlook from a *****.*****csv file**

1. Open your Outlook Calendar.
2. Click **File > Open & Export > Import/Export.**
3. <span style="color: #333333">Select </span><span style="color: #333333">**Import from another program or file > Next**</span><span style="color: #333333">.</span>
4. <span style="color: #333333">Select </span><span style="color: #333333">**Comma Separated Values > Next**</span><span style="color: #333333">.</span>
5. <span style="color: #333333">Select </span><span style="color: #333333">**Browse**</span>
6. <span style="color: #333333">Select the desired calendar file using the file explorer window that opens.</span>
7. <span style="color: #333333">Click </span><span style="color: #333333">**Open**</span><span style="color: #333333">.</span>
8. <span style="color: #333333">After selecting duplicate handling options, click </span><span style="color: #333333">**Next.**</span>
9. Select **Calendar. **
10. Click **Next.**
11. Make sure you have **Import…**<span style="color: #333333"> selected. </span>
12. <span style="color: #333333">Click </span>**Finish.**
