The HuskyVision service requires a cable-ready television, but if you are using an older television that does not have a QAM tuner (Quadrature Amplitude Modulation), you can use a converter box. This article covers how to set up a converter box.

> ✅ Converter boxes can be rented for the year at no cost at the[ ITS Technology Support Center](https://techsupport.uconn.edu/) on the first floor of the library. To avoid charges, return the converter box at the end of your rental period.
