> ✅ All active students now use Microsoft Outlook instead of Gmail for emailing at UConn. This transition occurred in Summer 2024.

## Access your UConn email online

1. Go to [email.uconn.edu](https://email.uconn.edu/)
2. Click **Outlook.**
3. Sign in with your UConn email address.
4. Enter your NetID password.
5. Respond to the [Duo two-factor authentication](https://uconn.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IKB/pages/10789815076) prompt, if required. You will now see your inbox in Outlook.

> ℹ️ You can also access Outlook from the Microsoft 365 desktop apps on Windows and macOS. All UConn faculty, staff, and students may [download Microsoft 365 applications](https://uconn.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IKB/pages/10770822412) on up to five University-owned or personal devices.

## Install the Outlook app on a mobile device

Students, faculty, and staff can access their email using the mobile Outlook app.
