> ⚠️ Institutional email accounts for faculty and staff are intended for business purposes. Emails and attachments sent from or received in your university email account are considered [public records](https://publicrecords.uconn.edu/) that are subject to disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).

All university email service operates through [Microsoft Outlook](https://uconn.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IKB/pages/10726900301). Previous systems such as HuskyMail and Google Workspace are no longer being used.
