This KB entry will explain how to create a new contract request in the Contracts+ module.

## \uD83D\uDCD8 Instructions

1. Log in to HuskyBuy and use the navigation sidebar to access the Contracts+ module. Click the “Request Contract” button on the top right of the Contracts+ homepage.

2. Make sure “Create Contract” is selected in the ensuing pop-up window.
3. Select the appropriate Contract Request Template. In most cases, “General Contract Request Form” will be what you should choose.
4. Name the contract request something that will make it easy to identify and understand. Click “Submit”.
  
5. Follow any instructions on the “Instructions” page, then click the “Next” button.

6. Review the “Details” page. If you need to rename the contract request, you may do so now. Click “Next”.

> ℹ️ From this point forward, at any time, you can click the “Save Progress” button on the bottom of the screen to save your contract request if you need to complete the entire request in more than one sitting.

7. This will bring you to the “Attachments” page. Please attach any relevant documents to this page. This includes, but is not limited to: quotes, proposals, vendor-drafted agreements, scope documents, etc. Please provide as much documentation as possible. When you are finished, click “Save Changes”, then “Close”, then click “Next”.
  
8. On the “Questions” page, fill out all applicable information. Fields marked with an asterisk are required in order to submit your Contract Request. Please be as detailed as possible where necessary to prevent any delays in processing your contract request. Once you are done, click “Next”.
  

9. The “Review and Complete” page should show only check marks in the “Progress” column to indicate you have completed all necessary fields. Click “Complete Request”
  
10. To view the current status of any of your outstanding Contract Requests, use the navigational sidebar to select Contracts > Requests > My Contract Requests.
  

## \uD83D\uDCD8 Status Indicators for Contract Requests

**Under Review: **The request has been submitted and is in the contracting queue for review and approval.

**Approved: **The request has been approved but a draft/contract record has not yet been created.

**Completed: **The request has been approved AND a draft/contract record has been created.
