As part of the transition from the HuskyBuy Contracts Compliance Tracker (CCT) to Contracts+, the system’s contract types have been updated and restructured.

Contract Types allow specific information needed to create different kinds of contracts to be collected and populated into the contract record for searchability and ease of drafting.  These categories of contracts share similar traits.

The table below provides an overview of the new contract types, their intended uses, and any corresponding legacy contract types from CCT, where applicable.

| Svcs Agreement | These include agreements for time and materials or deliverables based services such as consulting, professional services, etc.  They also include Facilities Service Agreements, Utility agreements, and other service providers. | - Service Agreement

| Software License Agreement | These agreements cover the purchase of software licenses including term licenses, software as a service, platform as a service, infrastructure as a service, perpetual licenses, and software maintenance. | Hotel and Event Services | These agreements are between a hotel (or venue provider) and the University that outlines the terms and conditions for hosting an event, such as a hotel stay, conference, meeting, or banquet. | - N/A |
| Cooperative Purchasing | These are agreements in which the University is leveraging another institution or organization’s underlying contract, which typically has been publicly sourced.  These agreements may be used without signature provided the underlying risk to the University is low. | - Consortia Agreement

| Cooperative w/ Participation | These are agreements in which the University is leveraging another institution’s underlying contract, which typically has been publicly sourced.   The University is choosing to create its own contract document, adding specific legal and business terms to memorialize the relationship.  The Contract Record will go through normal authoring workflow, including signature process. | - Consortia w/ Participation

| PSA | These agreements are for simple, predefined services. Departments handle business terms directly with the supplier, without Buying team involvement. Contract Specialists review and revise submissions based on a standard contract form before final execution. | - Personal Service Agreement |
| Special Terms | These agreements cover a wide variety of standalone agreements with Suppliers, absent inclusion in a broader contract, including but not limited to Confidentiality Agreements, Non-disclosure agreements, standalone license agreements (non-software), intellectual property terms, and additional or custom purchase order terms. | - Non-Disclosure / Confidentiality Agreement

| Sourcing Record | These are non-contract records that provide a tracking mechanism for  sourcing efforts that do not specifically require a contract.  These typically include informal bids and sole sources. | - Free-standing PO |
| Construction Design | These agreements cover professional design services related to construction projects, including architectural, engineering, and consulting services. They typically involve planning, design development, and preparation of construction documents, and may also include oversight during the construction phase. | Construction Services | These agreements cover labor, materials, and related services for the physical construction, renovation, repair, or maintenance of buildings and infrastructure, excluding any design-related services. > ℹ️ Revenue Agreements: These agreements can vary in type selected for the contract.   Anything with a maximum revenue generated part of the contract should list this $ amount in the contract value field in the contract header.
